Safe Waste Disposal
Safe waste disposal is the scientific treatment or final disposal of waste that cannot be reused or recycled, carried out only at facilities authorised by the Pollution Control Board, with records for every load.
Some waste has no second life: sanitary waste, household hazardous items, expired goods and inert residue. We route each of these to the right authorised facility, such as a common treatment facility, a TSDF or a scientific landfill, and give you the documents to prove it was handled lawfully.

Questions about safe waste disposal
Do you dispose of bio-medical waste yourselves?
Bio-medical waste must be treated at an authorised Common Bio-medical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF). Nexicycle helps clinics and healthcare units segregate correctly and connects them to an authorised CBWTF; we do not treat bio-medical waste ourselves.
Can you destroy expired products and give proof?
Yes. We arrange witnessed destruction of expired, damaged or recalled stock, recycle the packaging where possible, and issue a certificate of destruction with photo and video evidence.
Where does non-recyclable waste end up?
Combustible non-recyclables can become refuse-derived fuel (RDF) for cement kilns. Only inert residue that cannot be recovered goes to a scientific sanitary landfill.
