Why we started
India now processes around 80% of its urban waste, up from about 16% in 2014. The tonnes left over are mostly mixed waste that nobody can recycle or compost once it has been combined.
The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 put the fix into law: separate at source, process wet waste close to where it is generated, and keep records. Nexicycle exists to make that easy for the people who must do it, from a government office administrator to a society secretary or a factory’s EHS manager.
